To make phone calls from FileMaker, you first need to be able to make phone calls from your Mac. To make phone calls from your Mac, you need iOS 8 or later, OS X Yosemite or later, and both your Mac and iPhone need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Now if you’re on a Windows machine or own a phone that’s not an iPhone, then shame on you – no, only kidding, but in order for this to work you need both a Mac and an iPhone.
